For Local Man, Glass is Half-Full

LAWRENCE,KS-- David Argot has lost $50,000 in his 401k balance over the past three months but is thrilled the price of gasoline is down.

"Gas is under $3 a gallon!" he said as he raised his hand towards this reporter in order to initiate a 'high five'. "That more than makes up for my 401k going down!"

Mr. Argot studied social science in school and always had difficulty with math, for which he is very grateful.

"I'm glad I don't know math, because it could work out that it'd be better off if my 401k was up."

Mr. Argot might well prove the maxim that "ignorance is bliss".
